The Women's Council of REALTORS® is a community of real estate professionals creating career opportunities, promoting success strategies and inspiring leadership and individual achievement.
To be the premier organization for individual achievement in real estate.
WCR is a nationwide organization with a distinctly personal touch.
For WCR members, this means becoming part of a genuinely supportive environment in which to learn, test new skills and grow. Plus, WCR's unparalleled networking opportunities locally, and at state and national events, generate some terrific relocation referrals. Real estate professionals are more effective and successful when they are WCR members.
For home buyers and sellers, a WCR member is the obvious best choice for a real estate professional with experience, know-how and insight into your individual needs. Plus, your local WCR member/agent is part of a superb nationwide network of real estate professionals, dedicated to taking the stress and guesswork out of a move across town or across the nation.
WCR was established in 1938 by 37 real estate women representing nine states. Today we have 13,000 members active in 300 local chapters around the country, with nine regions and 35 state chapters.
The typical WCR member is a woman working full time in single-family residential housing sales and has more than 11 years of real estate experience. 80% of WCR members are computerized. 78% of WCR members earn $50,000 or more from real estate activity.
WCR has been making a difference in the lives of its members for sixty years. We think the following roster of quotes from WCR members through the years demonstrates the value of this growth experience.
